Family trip

The location of the hotel was excellent as we visited Manchester to go to a match at Old Trafford. The hotel is also within walking distance of enough restaurants close to the hotel for evening meals. The nearby metro stop is handy for cheap travel to the city centre. The room was clean, comfortable and tidy. The buffet breakfast is basic but sufficient. Our only gripe was the cost of drinks at the bar but then again the price may be similar to any other bar prices nearby. The hotel is excellent for any families planning a short stay in Manchester because the location is quiet.

Definitely recommend

Had a great trip. Stayed two nights in hotel to go to match for first time. View of Old trafford which really topped it all off. No complaints what so ever. Central, Friendly, helpful staff, couldn’t be cleaner. Area around has places to eat and drink. On the quieter side of things but that suited us perfectly.

Good hotel but shame about the view when you’re a Liverpool supporter

AS a Liverpool fan, it was a bit disconcerting to have a view of Old Trafford from our window, but the rooms were lovely and the service was fine. Its just a short walk to the tram stop and so really convenient for a city centre jaunt! The breakfast is just a continental affair, but to sit watching the ducks, swans and heron in the morning is very relaxing. Overall a nice hotel to stay in.
