Disappointments
Ive recently returned from a vacation trip to Malaga, Spain for which I used Expedias services to book accommodations and a day excursion to Tangier, Morocco. While the booking process through the Expedia website was a convenient and easy process, I feel compelled to share with you a number of disappointments my friends and I experienced with the services provided by your travel partners in Spain. We booked accommodations at the Calanova Sea Golf Apartments in Mijas, Spain from July 13th-19th, 2009). In general, the apartments were quite nice and delivered on all the amenities described on Expedias website. However, our weeks stay at these apartments was tormented by the offensive odor of manure that was constantly creeping into our unit. Perhaps our stay coincided with a significant landscaping project at the property, but the emanating smell of the manure was a huge disappointment in our experience with our stay. In addition, there was a significant problem with flies and mosquitoes immediately outside our apartment. With the manure odor and flying pests, we were unable to enjoy any fresh air or the very nice balcony our apartment offered.
