Central Hotel
Good clean hotel. helpful staff. Breakfast room small and bar not busy but lots of places to eat nearby.
Nr 2 bus from the airport is cheap and drops you at the square opposite the kgb museum. 10 - 15min walk to hotel.

Vilnius Adventure
The Hotel Tilto appeared to have been recently renovated and is ideal for travellers on a budget. The reception are helpful and have a number of leaflets. The only points to note are that the bedrooms (at least mine) was quite cramped or compact so much so that there is no wardrobe just coat hangers on the wall? Nice bathroom with a large shower. Free internet access for researching your trips. The breakfasts weer plentiful but again for a hotel that has around 20 rooms there was only enough space for approx. 10 people in the small breakfast room. To this extent meant you sometimes had to have breakfast with a complete stranger. Not a problem just not ideal!
Traveller's tip on nightlife
If possible go to the Opera and go and see a performance at the Concert Hall. Top quality performances and musicians at a fraction of what it would cost you in the UK.

Little, but great location
Really close to the Old Town and some nightlife, which was a plus. Internet worked fine, but other obvious amenities missing like clock, some bathroom stuff and a trashcan... Room is quite tiny, but only slept in it. Air Con worked, but place was still stuffy. Staff was pretty good, same couple people.
Traveller's tip on dining
Nothing is open late, be aware of that, might have to do some walking deep into old town.
