Pyramids
Even though its an hour drive out of Cairo,it was a very nice hotel. We had great food and the taxi service there was very helpful.

would like to go back
the staff was outstanding the whole trip was outstanding im telling everybody i know to stay in the sheraton dreamland in giza. my cousin and his wife will visist next years so she can see what it was like for me and him to be in egpty to see the pyraimd.

This hotel is not up-to-standard!!!
If you have a choice, then stay away from this hotel... At least until it is fully finished and the staff have learnt a few more words of English! I spent a week here recently and out of all the hotels I stayed in during my seven week world circumvention, this was the worst! Not only is it located right next to a very loud amusement park that goes on until 2 or 3 am every night, they just dont know how to treat Western customers. Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong here. The air-conditioner needed to be serviced three times, the TV failing, the staff dont understand the simplest of instructions and on top of it, the management made promises to rectify their short-comings and then refused to fulfil them! These guys are bunnies and have a lot to learn before they can be seen to be in the league of other Sheraton hotels Ive stayed at.

Posted: 17-Aug-09Dear Guest, It was a great pleasure to host you at Sheraton Dreamland and we are grateful to your comments which will greatly support our improvement in the mentioned areas. Please allow us to take a minute of your time to clarify and respond to your quiries. Our Front Office & most of the Service providers have acceptable level of English however certain level of associates in the House-keeping whose English level may possibly be below the intermediate level and that is common in non English Speaking countries. In regards to the Amusement Park, it normally closes by mid-night in the Summer & the rooms windows are double glassed therefore the level of sound is not high. The Air-condition failure was due to failure in the power supply in all the area of Dreamland, which affected our Air-condition & T.V. System and that was totally out of our hands & could occur in any country. Nevertheless our records show a maximum of 14 minutes to respond to such requests like resetting the T.V. or Air-condition if the guest requested assistance to operate it.
