Disappointed
A place for the newly wed or nearly dead - very stuffy air - no ventilation. Very noisy fan in bathroom made it unpleasant to be in there - room 116. I gather the golfing is good. Food is so -so. Service excellent, respectful.

Pleasant Stay
The public areas appear to have been redecorated recently as had our bedroom. There seemed to be some work in progress on other bedrooms although this in no way disturbed our stay. We had a seaview room that was well appointed but not over generous in size. The staff that we encountered were efficient and helpful. We were on a B&B arrangement but dined in the restaurant a couple of times during our six night stay. The table d’ hote seemed to us a little on the pricey side and the food was good but not exceptional. If you want a change of dining venue then there are few options in the immediate locality. Overall we enjoyed our break and would stay at this hotel again.

If you want a change from dining in the hotel then I can recommend "Austell’s" which is located in the small parade of shops/restaurants in Carlyon Bay.
