noisy hotel far from city
Concerned about parking because I am disabled we specifically asked about their situation. They said they had 15 spaces at the hotel itself. That was a lie. There were 7 and no nearby lots, only metered street parking. Also, there was nowhere to eat except for a chinese takeout or indian takeout. We broke a glass by accident and they wouldn’t replace it for the whole stay, leaving 3 people with one glass for 3 days. The noise from the street was constant and unbearable. It went on all night long. The subway ride into the city was so long we had to drive and pay tolls each way every time we went anywhere. They had several toasters with bread in the morning but none of them worked, and their orange juice machine was turned off and replaced with Sunny Delight. If there was anywhere they could cut corners they found it. Our soap and shampoo was never replaced when it got low and I half expected to need a quater to use the bathroom in our room.

Hidden Hotel
Hard to spot on Hillside. Can only see sign if approaching from the east on Hillside. Parking is at a premium.

This hotel is located at a very convenient location with subway station only couple of blocks away to reach downtown. JFK and LaGuardia is also not far and so convenient to catch your morning flight. Hotel staff is also friendly.
