Good enough, but 5 star? Really?
The hotel officially ticked all the 5 star boxes - room service, gym, bars, and toiletries, but the level of service wasnt quite up there with the better hotels Ive stayed in. On the couple of occasions we spent time in the main bar, the service was slow and indifferent, and the bookings staff had not recorded our check-in details correctly, causing some difficulty when we first arrived. The furnishings were standard, even a little dated. It was all fine - nothing really to complain about, but nothing very special either. The location of the hotel was very handy, although our room, which had a window looking over the courtyard of the building behind, suffered from some late night noise from the nightclub downstairs that was not part of the Radisson.
Traveller's tip on dining
The Hemispheres restaurant, on the corner of Rue Leopold, half a block away from the hotel, was one of the only restaurants in Brussels that offered a good selection of vegetarian options. The food was delicious and the choices were interesting to ensure we returned for another couple of visits. The service was excellent - efficient but dignified.

The Radisson was great!!
We spent 4 days in Brussels at the Radisson, it is within walking distance of the Grand Place, and the museums. The staff is friendly and able to guide yuo to the various local sites of interest and also to the nearby cities like Antwerp, Brouge and Ghent, would not take any local tours if I had 3 or 4 days and just go around Belgium from here. The hotel offers in room wireless internet access which is great for getting in touch with any one you need to. The Belgian people are friendly and mst of them speak English, so travel is a pleasure!!
THERE ARE SO MANY WONDERFUL RESTAURANTS IN THE VICINITY OF THE HOTEL, RANGING FROM THE BUDGET TO FINE DIDNING!!! Brussels was truly a wonderful experience!!
