Nice older hotel in excellent location
Older hotel, but well kept. Good location close to British Museum, around corner from Russell Square underground station. Not inexpensive.

Always wanted to stay
Ive passed this hotel for years and always wanted to stay in it. It is quite grand, inside as well as out, and generally lived up to my expectations. Location is super with a tube station around the corner and within walking distance of Euston. St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations, the British Museum, and much of the University of London. Breakfast was extra and a bit pricey but could easily serve as one meal in a two meal day.

Too much traffic noise
The hotel was very nice, the room was spacious and updated, the staff extremly courteous and knowledgeable. We had booked including breakfast but were told that breakfast would be an additional 10 pounds each, for a total of 20 pounds each which was just too expensive. The noise from the traffic, which continued non-stop all night, was a nightmare and most disturbing.
