Very comfortable stay
Booked for my wife’s birthday, requested a good room and we were not disappointed. The hotel is brilliantly located for everything - station is a 5-10 minute taxi ride, main shopping streets right on your doorstep and theatres/arena are 5-10 minutes walk. Breakfast was mainly a cold buffet with the exception of scrambled eggs but was of good quality. Hotel not contemporary but very comfoirtable and clean and staff were excellent.

Hotel Accademia very welcoming
Hotel was very well located near Piazza Erbe. Hotel was very pleasant and staff were friendly and helpful. Sent us to a good restaurant a 5 minute walk away called Greppia which we really enjoyed as staff was cordial and food was very good as was wine list.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Try to visit Roman Theater and Giusti Gardens which are about a 10 minute walk from hotel. Theater also has a museum well worth visiting. Views of Verona are great from both places as well. Also Duomo and Basiliaca of San Zeno are beautiful and peaceful. There is a charge to enter both churches which is unusual for Italy, but well worth it.

Delighted with this hotel
My wife and I stayed 2 nights of our honeymoon at this hotel, and loved it. The hotel decor is attractive and luxurious. We found the central location in Verona very convenient for walking around the city. The staff couldn’t have been more polite, friendly and helpful. When they found out it was also my wife’s birthday, they surprised us with a birthday card, sparkling wine and sweets. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent, and sang ’happy birthday’ at dinner for my wife. Breakfast was lovely too.
