Good location
excellant location and easy access to airport. Clean, contemporary but bedlinen and pillows could be improved upon.

enjoy the old biscuit factory, just up the river from the hotel. You can eat and drink there too.

Nice place in Nantes
This is a business style hotel (modern) connected to the congress building in the business district. It’s quiet but accessible by foot or tram to all sites and interesting things in Nantes for tourists. Room was big, clean and with a nice view of the river. The main misleading characteristic of this hotel is that it’s 500m from the train station. Yes, it is--if you travel as the crow flies over a river. It’s actually further than that because you need to walk a bit to find a bridge to cross. It was really too far with our bags, so we chose to take a taxi back to the train which cost us 10 euros!

We didn’t try the hotel restaurant, but instead had some memorable excellent meals (including breakfast) in Place de Bouffay and near the chateau. Definitely worth going out and exploring.

Good location
Picked this hotel as it was one of the few with vacancies during the rugby world cup. Was pleased with the choice. Very convenient location - short walk to the centre, also short walk to the tram stop for the stadium and bus stop for the airport. Hotel was clean, room was spacious, and staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be that the bathroom in our room was poorly designed so the floor got soaked everytime you had a shower. Breakfast was okay but nothing special.

There’s a very nice bar just along the river from the hotel. You get to sit in deckchairs, enjoy the sunshine and watch the world go by.
