Great for Families
The hotel is just a few short walkable blocks to the National Mall. For the excursions further afield, the Metro is just underneath the hotel. My children (6 and 10)thought that was a great convenience. The restaurant is family friendly with a children’s menu and the prices are not outrageous considering you are in a major city. We would stay there again.

L Efante at Metro AMAZING BEAUTIFUL
This place is so large, what a view from every window (lobby, room ect) The room was so.. beautiful and large. My bed was so comfortable. Excellent staff. The food was great in the hotel, great computer room at no charge. I recommend it to any single female traveling alone, just go to the lobby and you walk outside and you are on the Metro. This hotel exceeded my expectations and I travel alot

Excellent deal
We spent four nightsat L’Enfant Plaza. Best location - walking distance to the Mall, Capitol and all major D.C. attractions. Excellent service. But, it used to be more appealing when the shops underneath the hotel, by the Metro station were all in service. Now, most are closed and boarded - a sign of how bad the economy is also hitting D.C. I would recommend this Hotel anytime. We were able to see more and use better our time at D.C. because we did not lose time commuting or walking long distances anywhere.
The Native American Museum surprised us. It was the least crowded, but had the most touching and appealing presentation of the side of the american heritahe and history about which we knew the least. And the restaurant had the best food in the mall with no lines.
