Great location
This hotel was very conveniently located. The staff was friendly.The room was very nice and comfortable. The lobby of the hotel was unattractive. The only disappointment was the included breakfast. It was served in the bar next door and was not available on Sunday. The cappucino was lukewarm and the single croissant was stale.I would reccomend this hotel to any traveler. I did enjoy the stay.

Trouble
I thought I booked a Junior suite and I specified 4 people. The room had a king bed and a twin. The Hotel smelled musty and unkept. Thank goodness my daughter is doing well in Spanish, she got us through check in and check out.

Well located but basic
This was our first trip to Bologna and we found the city charming. The hotel is close to what one would like to see in Bologna and it did give us a large room with a double bed and two singles for our teenaged daughters. The towels and sheets were clean and the people were nice. The floors were not very clean and the bathroom was old (shower did not drain well). The people were nice but disorganised: they had trouble with the reservation and tried to put us in two rooms for double the price and neglected to return our passports when we left (luckily the people at our next stop arranged a courier service and we did not have to go back). One would need some Italian to stay there, as there is not much English spoken, although we could get everything done with hand gestures etc. If one is staying for a few days and is trying to save money, this hotel would be ok. But its cleanliness standards would take it off many people’s lists.
The little cafe next door (where breakfast is served) has good inexpensive snacks as well (calzone etc)
