Overall a good hotel...comfy beds...ice cold AC...nice pool...should be cheaper though
We go to 6 Flags a lot during the Summer months and the Sheraton has become our familiar spot to hang out for 2-day stays at 6 Flags. The location is good, the hotel meets all our needs (particularly the kids, who love the pool, hot tubs and sauna). But it is a bit pricy, especially when they charge you for parking overnight. Oh well, until a better option comes along, the Sheraton is our place.

Needs Improvement
The staff was very nice but, the hotel is in desperate need of repair. When entering my room there was black electrical tape holding down the carpet. This was only one of many things i observed in the hotel that needed repair. The room itself was average and the TV was very old and had an extremely poor quality picture.

Speak up!
This hotel is under renovation. When I first checked in, they put me in a room that hadnt been renovated (although some furniture had been removed already). The first room was dirty, had torn carpets, badly damaged furniture - it made much cheaper hotels look like five stars. At first I accepted it - but after working out, I went to the front desk and asked to be moved because the room was unacceptable. They were more than happy to do this (must not have been the first time they heard the complaint) and put me in a very nice room - clean, nice furniture - what you would expect of a Sheraton. So speak up if you are put in a dingy room! As for the health club - while they say it is the largest in the city - it is really quite small and not well kept up (read dirty). They need to spend some capital on this if they are going to claim it as a value added component of staying at the hotel. Restaurant was closed as well (except for the sports bar on the second floor) - not a deal breaker unless you plan on eating a regular non-bar type meal at the hotel.
Traveller's tip on shopping
The "mall" connected to the hotel is empty - as in few stores. Not much around to walk to either.
