Fabulous View
This hotel is a "grande dame" with a kind of faded 1930s beauty and may not suit those travellers who want a modern clinical "Americanised" hotel. We loved it though, from the pink corridor to the grand dining room, and although we did not eat there, it looked beautiful. Our room was not huge, but big enough for our 3 night stay, and had a delightful little balcony overlooking the lake. The hotel itself is right on the lake and I enjoyed "people watching" from the balcony as they strolled along the promenade which leads to central Montreux and Chillon. Overall a great hotel, very friendly staff and a delightful place for a romantic getaway.

Great service, great food, great location right on Lake Geneva. Easy to reach all of the sites in the region.
The Lavaux is one of the most spectacular cultural and natural landscapes in Europe. Can only really be experienced on foot. Also take the funicular and bus to the top of Mt. Perelin for a view.

Romantic Gem on Lake Geneve
We stayed at this hotel to attend our dear friends daughter at their suggestion. This is such a romantic littel gem of a place perched on the bank of lake geneve with mind blowing views of mountains. Hotel staff are always ready to help you, very informative. Hotel rooms are very comfortable and clean, bathrooms are cute and showers work furiously! It is a pricey hotel and breakfast is charged extra. This I think should be included in room rates. Location of this hotel is very enviable and one can take long walks around the lake enjoying fabulous and clean promenade full with flowers and unusual plants from all over the world. Jetty to take a boat cruise is only 5 minute walk away. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we hope to visit again just for enjoyment next time.
