Good location but looking tired
This hotel is well placed for the M1, but without the noise from which some of those at the side of the motorway suffer. The decor is dated and tired. My room was adequate although wi-fi access didn’t work properly which was inconvenient.

Don’t rely on eating at the hotel - looked at menu and I would consider it overpriced.

Very comfortable
I am travelled and stayed in many places within the UK, and this one feels really comfortable just like home. Considering that it isn’t far from the city centre, this is very well priced especially inclusive of the breakfast. Very easy to find if you are coming from the M1, as it will be sign posted. But if you are travelling through Long Eaton, there are no signage at all.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
If you are travelling with youngster who has the basic understanding of Robin Hood, it is best to travel during the summer holidays to Sherwood Forest as well, as there is an Annual Robin Hood Festival where all the kids can enjoy.
