Excellent Hotel - friendly staff
The hotel was excellent with very friendly staff. Although the closeness of Stansted Airport does bring the planes in low the noise isnt obtrusive in the building. I would stay there again quite happily.

Dont waste your money
The worst hotel i have ever stayed in. The light outside our room didnt work, the heating didnt work, the bed was full of human hairs the room was dirty the bathroom smelt very bad, there was no hot water for a shower, no hairdyer, no telephone in the room and the bed was meant to be a double bed but they just put two singles together and a very noise room I felt like I was sleeping on a runway! Dont waste your time or money. I dont understand why this hotel has been rated four stars!

Not a pleasant experience
Room 24 is located right next to the very noisy air-conditioning units, which seem to service every room except Room 24, ironically. When the Room eventually overheated in the middle of the night, we couldn’t even open the window for the almighty din the other rooms air conditioning units were making. With only 3 hours till our wake up call, it hardly seemed worth the effort of changing rooms. It is also important to note that as friendly as the staff are, (Especially the lad who checked us in) and as attractive as the rooms are presented - the Hotel is located directly under the flight path, and irrespective of windows being open or closed, when a flight is thundering overhead, it sounds and feels as if it were actually in the room with you.
Don’t expect to get much sleep.
