Paradise
Princeville is a wonderful resort on the north shore of the island and the views from its terraces and pool area are stunning. As long as the weather holds, as that part of the island can be cloudier and wetter at times, the sunsets are beautiful, and can be enjoyed from the hotels swim up bar. The hotel is pricey but a very luxurious place to stay, and having breakfast on the outdoor terrace is definitely recommended. The Italian restaurant is a nice place for a meal too. The lobby area really takes your breath away on arrival and staff were efficient and friendly. My husband and I first came to Priceville on our honeymoon then for our our 5 year anniversary and most recently for our 10 year anniversary with our 8 month old baby. We found the hotel excellent as a honeymoon location and with a baby! Well be back again, its a very hard place to leave!
Traveller's tip on dining
There are a number of good places to eat in nearby Hanalei or, venturing a bit further from Princeville, in Kapaa.
