Wonderful hotel

This hotel was fabulous. A wonderful experience. Recommend it highly.

Wow...this place is incredible

I can’t say enough how impressed I was with this hotel. From pulling up to the front entry to checki n and EVERYTHING the service was absolutely top notch! No snobbery, or feeling like you were a distraction. Everyone was totally focused on making sure I felt comfortable, and honestly like I was the only guest they had. I will definately stay here again.

More Hollywood than London, to be sure

The hotel staff was lovely even tho we might have been the only people in the neighborhood NOT wearing black!. Since the Golden Globes were that weekend the hotel was packed. The entrance to the hotel is hidden, and the exit is a little inconvenient, but the hotel rooms are very large, with private terraces. The bathrooms are ginormous. The rooftop bar is lovely. There is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in the hotel,which to me meant the food was overpriced( a glass of Chardonnay was $16.), and the service rather slow. All in all, however, a lovely hotel.

Can’t wait to go back

This is a very nice hotel in West Hollywood. Exceptional staff and prompt service. Valet parking is expensive but you expect that in this kind of hotel. Will definitely go back.

Outstanding Hotel - the best !!

The London West Hollywood Hotel was everything you would want in a hotel; great facilities, outstanding customer service, one of the best eating places in Gordon Ramsey’s establishment and just a very nice place to stay. We felt right at home and in a great location off the main drag where it was close to everything but away from the hustle and bustle. Would bo back again and again and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Best of everything!

The London West Hollywood is the best hotel in west LA by far. Everything about it is top notch and the prices are not crazy expensive.

Will pick it again if I visit LA another time

Our room, the one with the veranda was great, really specious and especially the bathroom was really huge(3 showers!!!) The porch was great for sunbathing, only problem that people on higher floors threw their cigarettes down to our porch but that’s bad behavior on their account. Hotel location was excellent(close to all the good places) and hotel stuff was really helpful.

This was a wonderful end to a two week trip down Highway one. First class from top to bottom. Bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms enormous and the rooftop pool is not to be missed. Staff are courteous and helpful without overdoing it. For the money it is hellishly good value,go there you won’t be disapointed!

You feel like a celebrity at this hotel.

The rooms are large like suites. The bathroom is huge with two shower heads in one large stall & a sunken bath tub on the side. You feel like a celebrity, the staff is always there to open your car doors & front hotel door. The only down fall is the valet parking. No self park, therefore it is very expensive for parking.

If you’re driving & don’t know the area, get a GPS! You don’t spend much time getting lost.

Spacious Rooms, Great Rooftop Pool Area

We stayed one fantastic night for an anniversary celebration. Checked in early to enjoy the hip pool scene, took a nap, and enjoyed a late dinner at Gordon Ramsey. Room was fab with great views of Century City to WeHo. Invited a couple of local friends over to have drinks in the room later in the evening. Great decor in the restaurant.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

See if you can check in early if you only have one night to stay there. The pool area is great. It’s nice to have a world-class restaurant so close...make a reservation there and enjoy a chill evening.

Just like home-I was very comfortable

The hotel was top notch! The room and hotel is gorgeous. The bathroom was just like home, with ceramic floors, dual shower head, soaker tub, fluffy towels and robe. The bed was comfy as well as the couch, and it was nice to sit out on the balcony to relax. The pool was amazing! Chairs were large and comfy and the music was relaxing. The fresh fruit and lemonade was also a nice touch. My only complaint was the $36 a day to park the car, that’s a bit pricey in my book.

Bring lots of cash for parking, West Hollywood parking fees are quite expensive. Went on the celebrity home tour, which was also fun, even though we did not spot any celebs. However, I did shake hands with Wayne Brady at an outdoor cafe just up the street from the hotel and spotted Gene Simmons and Rod Stewart’s son at the Beverly Hills Hotel while we were having lunch pool-side. The London hotel is very centrally located if you want to check out the whole LA area.

Good Location for West Hollywood

I’ve stayed at this location when it was the Ballage and then the Wyndham Bellage. To be honest the property is showing its age but it has a confort factor that is important. First off the carpet needs replacing. No ifs,and or buts. The upper floor rooms are probably the best. The cofee make did not work but the layout of the room is attractive. The bathrooms are attractive and well designed. A+ there. The pool and fitness center is a natural gathering spot. They get an A there. They need to install a lounge and spa facility of some type.Those are mandatory.

Wonderful hotel

The London West Hollywood Hotel gets everything right. The service is fantastic, the staff not intrusive yet personable and happy to help. The rooms were beautiful and spotless. The location is great for going out in the evening and as a base for driving out in the day. We ate at GR’s restaurant and we would strongly recommend the seven course meal with grand wine pairing- the service at the restaurant was great and the food and wine delicious. The best hotel that we have been to for a long time- highly recommended!

Recommended LA hotel

We were staying in San Francisco for a fortnight and popped down to LA for a couple of days. We chose the London as it looked like a high quality hotel at an affordable price. It delivered in style. All the rooms are suites complete with balconies and sofas. The staff are very friendly - they were happy to accomodate us even though we turned up four hours before checking in time. The pool on the roof is really good too - ideal for an early morning dip or night time swim.

Mirabelle is a couple of minutes walk away and well worth a visit. It’s also worth grabbing a beer in Red Rocks, a bar located between the London and Mirabelle on Sunset Strip.

west hollywood at its best!

Great hotel, great location being central to everything around west hollywood and beverly hills is only a short trip away.....amazing rooftop pool & bar with excellent views of LA skyline and surrounding areas.....the rooms are very comfortable although some of the new "trendy" furniture is a bit uncomfortable to sit on....actually if thats the only complaint then it must be a really great place as im a big complainer and can sually find faults anywhere i go....not with the London, cant say enough about this great hotel...so much so i have never done a feedback thing for expedia before but wanted to let people know how nice this place was....hotel also provides free transport in there land rovers to local shoping centers etc

The restaurant "Gordon Ramsey" is absolutely amazing, fine dining at its best but without the snooty atmosphere, you can arrive in jeans and a nice shirt and enjory a michelin star meal....just perfect and the prices were easonable(about $180 for dinner for 2 wine and large tip) if you want something a bit more relaxed head just around the corner to the italian restaurant , i forget its name but the hotel staff will certainly know where it is

I can’t say enough good things about The London. I suspect the bargain rates will go away soon, so get it while you can.

Great new choice in LA

The London turned out to be an excellent value. The location is superb and the pool and gym on the roof are fantastic.

absolutely beautiful...

I have stayed at a few places in west hollywood and this was by far the best. every inch of the hotel is immaculate and the staff was very courteous. my only complaint would be that the room service is a bit expensive but when you’re too lazy to go out for coffee you can’t complain about such things.

Perfection!

We loved this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The set up of the rooms are great for having friends there as well. The bathrooms are stunning, dual shower heads, huge soaking tub, etc. We booked a cabana at the rooftop pool and were very happy with that as well. Service was impeccable and very friendly. The only complaint is that the surrounding area is not the best. We definitely cabbed or drove elsewhere for entertainment and food. The yoga mats and excercise equipment on the roof are very nice as well.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Seeing as the drinks at the rooftop were pricey and we had friends visiting anyways, they brought a couple cases of beer and some snacks which we enjoyed in the room. Going up and down wasn’t a big deal since the cabanas are small anyway.
