I stay at the Grand Hyatt nearly every time Im in Taipei. The location cannot be beat, and it remains an excellent value for what you get in service and facilities. (I was concerned this time because I read a review about mosquitos in the lobby, but all was fine -- I sat with a customer in the lobby for an hour and saw and felt nothing to indicate that there was a problem with mosquitos.)
Traveller's tip on dining
Pearl Lam, the Chinese restaurant on the second floor, impresses every time. Their new dim sum menu is priced well and offers good variety.

Pretty Impressive
This was my first business trip to Taiwan, and let me tell you i made the right choice in selecting the Taipei Hyatt Hotel for my stay. Since i was there for business purpose, i found this hotel was centrally located and was easily accessible from all the corners to all the meeting places where i had to go. The staff was very helpful in terms of arranging the necessary things for my meetings and communicate the local people in their language as i can only speak in English. The rooms were pretty comfortable and after a tiring day i could rest easily. The only problem which i found in my room was Wireless connectivity to internet, but that was again not a big issue as they provided me a wired connection immediately and it was working very very smooth. Overall i am pretty satisfied with my stay and looking forward to visit again in early next month.

This is the worst hotel that I have stayed in my life. Hot water come after I took off my cloth. I asked the operator where the hotel booklet (i wanted to find some information) and she became very mean as soon as she heard i did not speak good English. name a few. In summary, worst hotel that I have stayed.
