Best Hotel and Best Location
Cannot fault the Steigenberger Herrenhof Wien. The standard of the hotel was excellent and in the most fabulous position for Vienna. The Central Cafe was great for breakfast and is only 50metres away. For brilliant food try the Figlmuller. Amazing schnitzel. Will definitely use this chain of hotels again. Good value also. Try the deluxe rooms. Complimentary mini bar with beer and soft drinks.

Excellent - but don’t waste money on upgrading room
Excellent hotel beautifully furnished with very good location. The superior rooms are very spacious and are virtually identical to the Deluxe rooms, so I wouldn’t pay the extra money for a Deluxe room in future, unless you want the use of their bathrobe and slippers! Did not have breakfast in hotel as there was an excellent cafe on the next corner, but we did eat in the hotel on one evening, and although fairly expensive was absolutely delicious.
A tour followed by a classical concert at the Schonbrunn palace is a must!
