Lovely, but not close to Vilamoura
The Hotel was very good; clean, modern, spacious. Breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold. However the area of Quarteira, although near the wonderful seafront is a little down at heel and it was a good 45 minute walk to Vilamoura Mariina, quoted. Vilamoura was the destination sought.

If you love the beach, Quarteira is the place for you - the wonderful Atlantic is on the doorstep. If you want to be in Vilamoura though,stay somewhere closer to the Marina

Good value
The Quarteriasol Hotel is modern, clean and nice (or at least the section I was in was). The pool is useful, the hotel is not far form the beach and only EUR5 from Villamoura itself. The only complaint might be the breakfast. The hot buffet at best is slightly warmer than cold, the fruit options were slim, and the coffee is horrendous.
There are few really good restaurants near the hotel, there is large one on the beach which is probably the only worthy of night. Villamoura is going to be your best option but the reason for staying here is the peace and quiet during the day that Villamoura doesn’t offer.

Lovely
very close to the beach and can walk boardwalk in the evening, totally renovated with two swimming pools, saunas, exercise room, restaurant, bar, all immaculate and modern. rooms were spacious and clean, however, there seemed to a slightly musty smell upon entering the room, dissipating when windows were opened, great value for price with a very satisfying buffet
