The hotel is clean, comfortable, and a great deal for the price. Also, the location is ideal and within walking distance of just about everything. Friendly staff too!

An excellent location
This hotel is in an excellent location, very convenient for the tram and the central shops. The hotel staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was plentiful. However, the bedroom was quite small particularly if you want to return for a period during the late afternoon. We were disappointed that when we arrived (at around 4pm) our allocated room had not been made-up. On reporting this to reception we were allocated another room. The next day we returned to our room during late afternoon to find that we had no towels. Again, on reporting this to reception the position was rectified. Had we been only staying for two nights we might not be giving the hotel a positive review. I would, however, book this hotel again if I were returning to Nice.
Public transport is both very convenient and very inexpensive. Take a train to Monaco. The train is very quick, clean and inexpensive.

Convenient location
Excellent location within walking distance of all the main sights and quiet neighbourhood. Reception staff (in particular one originally from Australia) were extremely helpful in planning day trips and finding places. They ordered a taxi for us on the last day to the airport for 29€. We arrived very early but this was no problem and our room (410 on the top floor) was made up for us already. Our 14 year old daughter accompanied us and had her own double bed! Tip: don’t think you’ll be saving money by having breakfast at the café next door - it’s cheaper than the hotel but it’s impossible to change from their set ’formules’ and they did try to overcharge us. For 9€ - with the possibility of freshly squeezed orange juice - the hotel is good value.
