Hawthorne’s Best
This hotel is great, the rooms are huge and clean and its just a 2 minute walk to the Hawthorne station on the green line. Really great for guys like me who need to go downtown without taking shuttles to the aiport and back. The service was excellent, the lady at the reception was very courteous and polite. She told me abt all the amenities and even helped me with directions. I will definitely stay here next time Im in LA.

Do Not Take VIP tours services offered by the Hotel concierge
Nice clean hotel, very nice and helping hotel staff, walking distance to green line metro station and buses. The hotel was not known by many in the surrounding areas and it was better known as Cokatoo Inn, i think the name was recently changed to Holiday Inn Express, the hotel staff was very friendly, provides a good breakfast (included in your room rent), near to the airport (shuttle service is provided). The VIP tours offered through hotel though equivalently priced with the other tour operators is NOT worth at all. Their mini vans are in bad shape, and one of the tour driver was very ill mannered. Even the VIP tours manager who was handling the tour vans was having a take it or leave it attitude, may be bcoz they are the only tour operator in that area. If you are looking for LA and surrounding area tours, stay in dontown LA or Hollywood and take Star Cruise tours.
