reasonable

The Hotel has a great location. Room 28 has a great view of the beach and pier. I was impressed with the included full breakfast and the bar is an interesting place to sit and have a few before moving on to the others in the area. The room was reasonably clean though i don’t remember if they changed the linens once during the 4 days I was there. price was reasonable. Probably a better place for the younger/ college crowd rather than those looking for creature comforts.. though the location/price seemed pretty good.

Stay somewhere else!

Not sure who saw two stars in this place, but it was the most cramped, run down, derelict hotel room ever. That is saying a lot as I travel extensively. I did not expect much for the price, but come now... only one snowy channel on the TV, heat not working, bedspread full of cig burns (in a non-smoking hotel!), only one tap working on the sink, flilthy walls and carpet, not enough room to walk about the room, let alone stow a small suitcase. Strangely enough, the bed and bath linens were changed daily! The one bright spot was a very helpful bar staff who got you up on the web and let you have a comfy spot to hang out, since Lord knows the room was dismal. There is also a good pub across the street and the car park was very close and cheap (4 quid for 24 hours, or free between 6 pm and 8 am). I cannot comment on the breakfast as I did not partake.

The Pig and Whistle pub had great grub at great prices. Also, there is a Chinese take away with huge portions and small prices around the corner. There are also two convenience stores on the block so a quick snack is easy to get.
