mixed impressions
We stayed at this hotel for a 3 night mid week break. We’d got a good deal, but the room we were given was definitely more basic than others on offer, but still comfortable; however there was no shower screen or shower head. The hotel was full, but we were eventually moved to a lovely room for 2 nights and an even better room for the last night. Some of the staff were lovely and friendly, but others were plain unhelpful. Would probably stay there again; but it was a little bit too far away from things and not the best impression from the staff.

Beautiful hotel
Really friendly & helfpul staff, beautiful old building and grounds, clean and comfy room. Tasty food & delicious wine. It’s a lovely hotel just outside Sheringham in Upper Sheringham - you definately need a car to get around though. Great to stay in the countryside whilst being a 5 minute drive to the beach. The added touch of a teddy bear in the room was so lovely - had to purchase one!
There’s a garage en route to the hotel so you may want to stock up on some water/snacks rather than use the mini-bar. We did this but treated ourselves to an evening meal in the hotel restaurant.
