So-So @ The Comfort Inn
Overall, not bad for the price. I know sofa beds aren’t usually very comfortable, but this one was unbearable. Moved the mattress to the floor. And the hot tub (which is why I chose this over other hotels) was not working.

Great Price and so close to Downtown
If you plan on visiting everyplace in and around SF this is the best bet for the money. Plus you have a great hot breakfast buffet every morning. Easy access from the freeway.

Unexpected Excellence
I’m not the type to do reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of my stay that I MUST say some things .... For the price, I couldn’t have asked for more. This was an impromptu stay so I wanted something cheap. I was expecting cheesy motel conditions and got 5 star treatment. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful at all times of the day. They even offer complimentary standard toilettries (sp?) for any bozo like me that forgets their toothpaste :-/ The only complaint is that the hotel is right near the freeway, but just a short block and a half away is the downtown area of South San Francisco on Grand .... lots of great restaurants, gas stations, a starbucks and several other little shops. Definitely recommend this place.
