Average hotel could do a LOT better
Stayed at the Grand Hotel last week but was disappointed in th standard of this hotel.Kept waiting over 45 mins to check in then led to a small , dirty , and very hot room with no air-con.Nowhere to park car , so had to use the extortionate euro 18 a day to park the car at this hotel.Surely should be complimentary?? Ate here on first night but at eur 26 for a club sandwich , which was average at best , certainly did not bother again.Awoken early each morning by hotel delivery staff at 6am .Good location , on the whole staff were attentive(excluding surly receptionist) and has a lot going for it.Extortionate food /drinks prices for what is a best a 3 star hotel.

A luxury treat to recover from travelling...
A real treat if you can get it at a special rate... fluffy white gowns, clean pool, very friendly staff, and a lovely position. Dinard is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay if you have to do the St Malo crossing, and really easy to get to. Be warned, that all extras cost at this hotel!! They charged 18 euros for parking our car for us, (although in a secure compound, so we didn’t have to worry about the bikes etc), and local tax also on top. We had breakfast in town, which is a delight... at the hotel it would have been 20 euros each.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Saturday there is a fabulous market in Dinard. Well worth the diversion, we also spent a few hours there on the way back!

Old style..modern outlook
A well situated 4 star hotel in Dinard with stairs opposite leading down to the promenade and beach. We felt cossetted during our short stay here and even our standard room was beautifully equipped and very comfortable. We would love to return!
