Holiday at Discovery Bay Rex
The hotel has surely seen better days but the room was clean and comfortable. My husband and I chose the all inclusive package and we really got value for the money spent. The staff were nice and helpful and the grounds were well kept. We made friends with a nice English couple and that made the trip even more enjoyable. The holiday was quite relaxing and informal which is exactly what we wanted and we will return someday.

Old glory
The bathroom was the messiest I have ever seen. The tub was never cleaned at all. The staff are ok and some very nice but very helpful. The hotel needs updating but more so needs a proper domestic service. The restaurant food particularly breakfast was not great. I’m glad it was not all inclusive.

Will go again
April 2008 Have justed returned from a great holiday. We were concerned as to what we would find after reading several bad comments. Yes the Hotel is a bit tired but is not the usual run of the mill chain hotel and has some Caribbean feel to it. The location could not be better, we had an ocean front room which was right on the beach. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was a good size and cleaned to our satisfaction every day.
