Good Hotel to hold a conference

I found it convenient to stay at the same hotel as the 3-day conference I was attending. The daily breakfast (cooked to order) was terrific.

Good Value

One gets a great breakfast, plentiful cocktails during the evening reception, and a spacious suite. There’s a nice pool and an adequate business room and exercise room. The hotel is tired, though. Out room’s upholstery was torn, the sofa sagged, and the cocktail table was broken. The lovely lobby is marred by dusty, faded plastic greenery along every corridor. However, for the price and the respite from the mania on the strip, it is a decent value.

Traveller's tip for business travellers

It is better to take taxis instead of renting a car. The city glitz makes driving in Vegas dangerous.

Vegas Baby

You can not go wrong with Embassy Suites and this hotel, just down from the Airport, is no exception. My wife and I were driving back to Vegas from Bryce Canyon and I wanted to stay at a great Hotel, near the Airport (for rental car return) and not spend a lot of money. Embassy Suites met these Criteria and Expedia delieverd on Price. Breakfast was included and there were two Chefs who made our breakfast right in front of us, which made everything perfect.

excellent service

From the front desk to the cooks, they all were very friendly and willing to go out of their way to insure you needs were met. The location is fine. Your across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel, also PF Changs is close by to walk to for lunch or dinner. The hotel runs a shuttle to Bally’s (on the strip) once every hour if needed, or the front desk will call you a cab. It was my first stay at this hotel in Vegas and I plan on returning. It’s a nice break from the large casino hotels on the strip.

Nice

Nice comfortable rooms. Breakfast was really good except really long lines on Sunday morning. Disappointed "heated" pool was freezing cold even though it was in the 80s outside. Also disappointed in the shuttle as it had extremely limited hours.

Will stay at this hotel again and again

Room was excellent, conference room was very nice and free breakfast was wonderful.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

walk across to the hard rock restaurant and catch the free shuttle to the strip in the evenings - only have to pay cab fare one way (free shuttle stops running at 9pm)

Great Hotel for the Money

When you consider the outstanding breakfast (made to order omelets) and the evening "happy hour" (2 hours long) it is an outstanding place to stay for the price. Everyone is very friendly and helpful also.

Very Good but not great

Only negative about the Las Vegas Airport Embassey Suites Hotel is that they force you to use the elevator. No stairs to the main floor. Emergency only. We like to walk up and down the stairs to the second floor. Much faster and healthier. Sometimes very long wait for the elevator to only go one level.

Loved it

hotel is beautifful. Free cooked to order breakfast was delicious and very fresh and plenty of it. Lots and lots to choose from. Seating in food area was great for families. Pool area clean and quiet. Room was sparkling clean, bedding so comfy, high quality bedding. Living room area very nice, even the remotes worked with good batteries. Free evening drinks and snacks good. Can’t say enough about this hotel. Good area. Cannot hear the plane much at all. They do not wake you up at night, whatsoever.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

EVERYTHING is closeby.

Night life limited

The hotel is not conveniently located as far as the strip is concerned. The shuttle service is not well explained. Apparenty it runs every hour and stops only at Planet Hollywood, but we were not told of its existance until the last day. When we found out about it, we waited for the shuttle and then were told it was already full and we would need to wait an additional hour if we wanted to use it.

Good location

Hotel is off the strip so you don’t have a lot of hustle bustle going on. There are many different types of restaurants in walking distance- we tried 3 and all were good. Enjoyed the hotel shuttle service so we didn’t have to use the car. Free breakfast each morning saved going out to find someplace to eat and free evening happy hour was generous with drinks and snacks. Spa was broke the first day and elevator was broke a couple times. Desk clerks were the best- both fun and informational.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

You may pay a little more per night but Embassy Suites are the way to go for couples or families. Extra bed, 2 tv’s, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, breakfast, happy hour, shuttle to the stip/airport, newspaper M-F, pool, spa. All in one place!

Not bad but pricy

Room was nicely equipped and quiet. Made to order breakfast was a definite a plus. Lunch was priced for a five star restaurant, even though it was nothing special. Conference rooms are cramped.

Great Hotel Management and Staff

This was our first visit to Las Vegas and this hotel. The management and staff made us very welcome and comfortable. The cooks that made our breakfast everyday had a good attitude and were excellant chefs. The happy hour every evening was relaxing and fun. The shuttle driver was there when we needed him. The interior courtyard with the swans and fish was pleasant as well as the swimming pool outside. Everything was clean and working. Even tho the airport was near, we did not hear the planes fly over. We were on the 6th floor and had a great stay.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

Take a day trip to the Hoover Dam and do the full tour. Take another trip to Death Valley and to Devils Hole. Attend a football game at UNLV. Check out the local Thrift stores, find fun stuff!!

Can’t wait to go back.

Hotel was gorgeus inside and out. The complimentary breakfast was awsome and the evening cocktail with ordorbes was fantastic. The free shuttle helps alot going down to the strip instead of driving yourself. Was treated very nice by employees, very curteous and good customer service. Very happy staying there and would recommend it.

Very Relaxing

Embassy Suites should never eliminate their breakfast and happy hour amenities. It keeps us coming back time after time. We had one of the newer rooms this time, which was nice. The only complaint is that happy hour used to offer a variety of appetizers plus popcorn. This time it was nachos every single night and no popcorn. After staying for three nights, nachos gets a bit old.

Traveller's tip on dining

The Firefly on Paradise is just blocks from the hotel and is wonderful (mojitos, sangria and tapas). Try the bacon wrapped dates. We love it and go every time we’re in Vegas.

Convenience

Even though this hotel was under the airport flight path, there was no noise in our room. Having free cook-to-order breakfast was great. Being away from the gambling but only a short drive was very nice.

The Usual Embassy Suites

This was your typical Embassy Suites. All employees we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. The food was above average for Embassy Suites. My only complaints were the bed did not have really soft sheets, there was stains on the comforter and some sort of sand in the bed.

Oh So NIce

The place to stay in Las Vegas. Recently remodeled to rival the elegance of any of the hotels on the Strip. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We were totally impressed and will make Embassy Suites our first choice when we travel.

Embassy Suites are always the best and this one was also!

We had a great stay. My husband and I always like to stay at the Embassy Suites because we love the size of the rooms, breakfast, reception, microwave and refrigerator. It was nice to be off the strip and come back to peace and quiet. I really like the fact that there was no gambling there. If you want a nice room and to be treated well I say always stay at any Embassy Suites.

VERY IMPRESSED

We have stayed in Embassy Suites Hotels in Tampa which was great so we decided to try again in San Francisco and Las Vegas - Unfortunately San Francisco was a huge let down so it was great to see that Las Vegas maintains the standard that we had whilst we were in Tampa I would overall say that this was the no 1 Embassy Suites Hotel we stayed in. Only small thing was that the shuttle could have come back a little later say 11h30 for those wanting to spend a little longer at the strip. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

One of the days, when I arrived back at the hotel at 5:30pm, my room had still not been cleaned (along with several other rooms on my floor). Housekeeping did not come until after 7pm and did not do a thorough cleaning.
