Great location, too pricey for overall quality
Overall Blue Water is a decent resort style hotel. The location is great, right on their private beach, pool side bar and grill, I especially liked the lounge chairs that overlooked the beach next to the pool, so you could enjoy the ocean front sitting in the sand. Friendly service, our room was very nice, comfortable, the staff allowed us to stay all day at the pool after we checked out of our room. But it is a resort hotel, which meant tons of kids in the pool running around, reminded me of Caddy day at the pool in the movie Caddy Shack. I wouldnt advise this place for your honeymoon! Overally the place could use an upgrade, new carpets, pool a little beat up, its just kind of seen its day, especially for the price we paid! You could stay in a four star hotel in Manhattan for the same price! One thing that did bother me was there was no supervisor in the in door pool or hottub! I saw tons of kids in the pool unattended, where were the parents at least and in and out of the hot tub which became full of sand and many un known floating objects!

Great room for the money
the Blue Water is an excellent hotel very family oriented. The room was clean and had all the basic items required for a quality stay. The location is excellent. One item to enhance the stay would have been more access to food and beverage at the hotel itself.
