Good place to sleep.
This hotel was overall pretty good. The room was clean and it smelled nice when we checked in. The breakfast was pretty good, but a bit too early for a Saturday morning. The only problem we had was that when the toilet got clogged, their idea of fixing it was to give my husband a plunger. I would have liked it better if they had taken care of it for us, especially considering the price we paid for a one night weekend stay. I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Mattress pad was dirty, and there was a trace of bedbugs on the mattress.

What happens when you are a captive market.
It’s very difficult to find motel/hotel accommodations in Payson, AZ during the Labor Day weekend and unfortunately, one can expect to pay 30% more for an economy property than we would pay anyplace else at any other time. The staff was courteous, the room was clean and the property seemed safe and secure. This is an OK place to stay if you don’t plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel.
