not the "whirlpool" you thought
the "whirlpool mini suite" there is indeed just a king room, with a jet tub with the size of a regular tub in the bath room. it is not like the Jacuzzi suites we have seen at other hotels in the area, where the Jacuzzi is in the main suite area.
all the local stores/visit centers Ive been to that claims selling discounted show tickets are timesharing sales. it turns out by going to branson variety theatre directly one gets the best discount, if one watches more than 1 show there. (40% off for second show, and buy 2 get 1 free if you watch 3 there) also try to take a look at their map before you go. take the red/yellow/blue route if you can, because 76 can be very crowded at certain times of the week. and lots of re-alignment with the road there, that your GPS might be comepletely crazy at some of the crossroads. but it will catch up as you continue drive on.

Very disappointing
We were very disappointed in the way we were treated and also the condition of the hotel.....our room had paint coming off the walls and we rented a King suite with a jetted tub and the information misled us to believe it was more like a big tub with jets and of course it wasnt! WOULD NOT RECOMMENT OR RETURN!

Good location, reasonable value
In a location that offers many value-priced choices, this is a good choice. It is not a "luxury" hotel, but it provided clean, comfortable rooms, a good basic breakfast, and a very good location. It met our needs quite well, and met or exceeded our expectations. I would stay there again, and recommend it to others. The only disappointment was that it didnt have even a basic exercise room. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
This hotel is within easy reach by car of most major shows and many dining choices, while in a location thats less "constantly crowded" than the Route 76 tangle.
