Club Alvor Golf
On arrival in Alvor we had difficulty in finding the hotel as it is situated about a mile and a half from the town centre and quite tricky to locate. The hotel itself is looking a bit "tired", and could do with some money spent on it. Staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful, and were only too pleased to help with any problems. The rooms were functional but, like the rest of the hotel, looking tired ( bathroom especially). Overall, our stay was pleasant enough and, for the money, I can’t really complain

Hard to Find; Hardly Worth It
This property is very difficult to find, especially with the terrible address listed on hotels.com. The address is just a general area. You have to turn in at a different property then wind through some back streets before getting to a sign that tells you where the hotel is actually located. The price was good for the area of the country -- this is an expensive resort area. But the quality of the property was comparable with the price. Rooms come with a kitchen, one bedroom w/ separate twin beds, a couch with a trundle bed. All beds are hard, small and not very comfortable. No A/C in rooms; you can rent a fan for 3 euros per day, and the fan is a necessity in the summer.
