Will return
We enjoyed out stay at club praia Da Roacha. When we first arrived we were greeted by friendly staff at receiption and then made our way to our rooms. The rooms were big and clean maybe a little bit out of date ie no microwave and cooked. I have just one complaint the cleaning staff of the rooms were very rude ie I asked for a extra towel and the staff member was very rude to me. and shouted at me.

You get what you pay for
We stayed at Clube Praia da Rocha for 4 nights and chose this hotel because of the very cheap price. We were only using the hotel as a base to sleep. The apartment was clean, though old fashioned. My only complaint was that our apt smelt of stale smoke. We were on the 10th floor, overlooking a busy road, which wouldn’t be my choice, but overall don’t think we could expect anything more for the price we paid. We didn’t use the restaurant or facilities, so can’t comment on those. We would stay again at that price if it were for a long weekend, but would not want to stay there for longer.
For breakfast the Palm cafe (attached to the Hotel Oriental) - great full english at good price, with amazing views over the beach. For dinner - Senhora da Rocha restaurant on the beach. Variety of food and prices, food always very good and the staff are amazing - so friendly. In addition you have a wonderful view of the sea, whilst dining. We eat there several times every holiday!

Old, but a good value
This is an "apartment" type hotel. Old and European. You rent appliances you want (TV, iron, etc.) However, it is very close to the beach, restaurants, and other amenities. Gounds are nice, great pool. There were families and sports (kids) groups there, and that’s the target audience. If you like posh, this isn’t for you. But if you’re a value-type person, it will be just fine.
