Holiday in Sydney

The hotel is located on a beautiful area with easy access into the city centre via public transport. The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful. One of the staff working in the dining area needs training in customer services on how to communicate politely and respectfully with customers on an appropriate and acceptable international level. Generally lovely hotel located adjacent to a lovely park.

Popular attractions within short distance by public transport i.e Circular Quay, The Rocks, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour and shopping areas like Pitt Street and George Street. Whilst you are in Sydney, do no miss visiting and exploring the Blue Mountains.

Nice stay

This hotel is quite nice for the money. Very helpful staff. It’s about a 10 minute walk from King’s Cross. Terrific bed and comforter, flat screen TV. Had to pay for Internet, though, and it wasn’t wireless. I had to ask the front desk for a CAT-V cable and they brought one up immediately. The hallways of the hotel look a little antiquated, but overall, an excellent stay for the price.

Traveller's tip on nightlife

Just far enough away from King’s Cross to walk there, and enjoy a quiet night when you return.

Great Hotel - Especially on Budget Rates

What can I say - lovely bed, modern bathroom with a great shower and bath, swimming pool, LCD TV in room, handy fridge, friendly staff - myself and my partner only booked 1 night initially but stayed for 4 nights because it was so nice and clean and new and (in comparison to the price of hostels in the area) we were AMAZED to find such a good rate for a proper hotel in Sydney!! Kingscross is the closest Train Station (7min walk to another road) and though there’s a bad rep there for "red light" you really wouldn’t know it unless you were looking for it, so I wouldn’t let that put anyone off.

Unless you’re feeling REALLY lazy, don’t bother with the hotel Restaurant - really nice staff and food, though a bit over priced - less than a 10 minute walk there’s plenty of Takeaways and Restaurants on Darlinghurst, and there’s even a couple of good places (Thai, Italian and a Bistro) less than a minutes walk from the hotel door. Staff don’t mind guests bringing food up to the rooms either, so don’t be afraid to ask for cutlery if needed!
