A Grand Old Hotel

A grand old hotel in a grand old neighborhood. Not five star but it has style and class. I enjoyed my time there very much.

cozy boutique hotel - good location and has charm

We were pleasantly surprised by the Marqueen. It was quite charming and the room was very comfortable. It had 2 king size beds and a kitchen! The continental breakfast was just right and the scones were yummy. We encouraged our relatives to stay there on their way home the following weekend and they loved it, too. There is no elevator, but I am sure a ground floor room would be fine for those who cannot take stairs. The neighborhood seemed quiet and there were grovery and drug stores within walking distance.

Loved the Ambiance

This was a weekend away for my husband and I. The kitchenette was wonderful, the size of the rooms huge. I was looking for something above and beyond the normal hotel experience, and this certainly was it. We had a wonderful time, and consider making this an annual event.
