Did not meet our expectation

The room was clean and did the job (view from our room was the savior for us, otherwise the hotel overall was a disappointment for sure). A massive climb from the town of Mykonos (the hotel that was the furthest out it seemed). The service is also a downfall for sure, especially for the price. I would spend a little more and stay somewhere where you will be happier. The shower is handheld and has no curtain etc. There are simply too many issues with this hotel that simply make it a poor value.

Very small room, shower hovers over toilet

I booked the double seaview room, paid the extra price, and was expecting a room similar to the pictures of the room on the website. I was instead given a much smaller room with a partial seaview with no private balcony. The bathroom was no more than 3 feet by 3 feet and the shower was just a faucet hanging on the wall over the toilet. The room had only enough room for the bed and a nightstand. Be sure to contact the hotel before arrival at the port as they do have a shuttle that will pick you up. We walked the 4 miles from the new port to the hotel, uphill, with our luggage because we did not know to call in advance. The hotel is up a very steep hill from Mykonos town itself...it is walkable to town, but you will have to be in pretty good shape to get up that hill.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

Go to Ellia Beach - it was the best and easily accessable by bus from Mykonos Town. It is a clothing optional beach with a gay section.

Good budget hotel

The hotel is in a good walking distance to the town centre. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily with fresh towels. There is a good car park at the hotel. But the breakfast wasn’t good, and we only had it twice in the 10 days we were there. The very worst thing about the hotel was that it is up an incredibly steep hill, which for a fit person is a strain to walk up without stopping. The cleaner did leave our balcony doors open once, and the keys in the door once, but nothing went missing.

Traveller's tip

This is a great hotel if you are on a budget yet want to be relatively near the bustling nightlife of Mykonos town. It is clean and feels safe up there. But don’t even think about stopping here if you are in anyway disabled or immobile due to the walk up the hill.
