Gold Dust West - good choice
I really liked this hotel. It was reasonably priced and very close to a major highway and city roads, but was off the road enough to be quiet. The common areas were clean and looked recently updated. The rooms were nice although the a/c unit in ours was a little wacky. The restaurant food was basic but good and cheap, although the service was hit and miss. But overall I had a good time and would definitely consider staying there again.

"honeymoon syndrome"
The hotel was great but we did have neighbors on the ajoining wall that kept us up part of the night--The noise--best described as honeymoon syndrom was so loud, that I suggested to my 11 year old grandson that we turn on QVC at 4 AM so we could go to sleep with the TV on. When I approached the desk the next day and asked to be moved--They were more than pleasant--It seems the honeymooners had left very early No need to change rooms- In general I would recommend this hotel based on staff cleanliness and convenience.

Nice Small Casino/Hotel
This is a nice newer and small Casino/Hotel. Food in the restaurant was good. Easy access to the freeway.
