Renaissance Riverside Hotel

we just came back fr saigon on 31st aug 09. we reach the renaissance river side at about 4pm and was greet with some friendly staff ,the staff that serve us was very friendly and kind enough to offer us an extra bed w/o extra charges because I’m bring my son along.we get the room on the 8th flr facing the city. to our surprise it was so quite that we can’t hear the traffic outside because in hcmc city the traffic is very bad and honk can be hear everywhere.the room was very clean and the bed is comfy with lots of pillow.we forget to pack our tooth brush so we just call the room service and within min they sent us some tooth brushes.though out our stay at this hotel we feel that is worth the money we pay.i will stay here again if i come to hcmc in the future.

Great Base

We upgraded to a club room which suited our requirements for the start of our stay in Vietnam. The rooms were comfortable and provided all that you would expect. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of shops, Bien Thanh market and all the city centre attractions. We also stayed for 1 night at the end of our trip. The staff upgraded us to a river view room on the 14th floor which provided a great panorama. Pool on roof is excellent. We did not eat in the hotel apart form the free breakfast when in the club room which was fine.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Don’t use the hotel shuttle bus for the airport transfer. Get a taxi instead for 120000 dong. approx 5GBP.

wayyy to expensive

dont waiste your money with a 2 star hotel that costs more than a five star hotel
