Hyatt Summerfield Suites Scottsdale/Old Town

Great location

Our room was a little smaller than we would have liked for a two-bedroom and we had to request some extra cleaning, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice pool. We were able to walk to many restaurants and stores, including the Fashion Square mall.

Very Impressed!

Like I mentioned above we thought everything was great. Definitely exceeded our expectations for the price and the location. Highly suggest it for a more "homey" feel.

Dirty Carpet

The carpet was super dirty. It needs to be changed! Others were good enough for old hotel suites.

We will stay here again.

We were happy with our (king sized bed) suite. Both living area and bedroom had tvs. Houskeeping did a great job. Complimentary food was great!

Perfect location

The hotel was perfectly located for nightlife and restaurants.They have a hot buffet in the morning and a buffet at night for the money it is excellent value I woould highly recomend this hotel and would use it again.It has free internet access and a laundry for use in the hotel

Tammy`s Sushi house is directly across the road it is really cheap and excellent value the food is wonderful and the hospitallity second to none There is also the steak houses near by I could not fault anything about this hotels location.When the car is parked you can walk everything nearby.There is also a free bus that takes you from oldtown Scottsdale to the new shopping mall it runs about every 15 minutes

Great place to stay

Have stayed twice at this hotel and both times were great. Clean suites, landscaped beautifully, great breakfasts which are free. Easy access to highways and close to Scottsdale’s shopping and resturants without being in the middle of it.

This hotel does not have elevators which is a drawback if you have problems with stairs and cannot get a ground floor suite.

Stayed about a week. Good central location. Nice rooms. The breakfast buffet and happy hour were a nice touch. Will definitely return

they deprogrammed every day the key room...so it was not good to go to the lobby and get it fix..also internet was able somedays and some not. The cleaning service was not quite the best. specially in beds. It was very well located.

it is very close from fashion square, grat mall..and also other stores, like demetrios wedding dresses.

Great place

Hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean and quiet. Good location. Breakfast was excellent not a typical free breakfast very pleased with they had. We would go back.

great stay

We stayed in several hotels over our seven day trip and were relieved to check into the two bedroom suite. It was like a home away from home. We were able to catch up our laundry in hotel, print out our flight boarding passes, swim and enjoy the outdoor grill area. Best of all was the evening snacks and full breakfast. The only negative was a smell in our suite that must have been left by the previous occupants. If we would have stayed longer than one night it would have been a problem. Overall it was a great value.

Nice place to stay, near from everything

Very nice place, i have childrens, and the kitchen was very helpful, near from atractions, shopping, dinner, and anything else you need. The only complain was the taste to salt or chlorine of the water of the swimming pool, they said was for the new way to maintenance.

Great location - good family hotel

The hotel is close to Old Town Scottsdale, Sunflower Organic Food Market, Petsmart, CVS and good access to Fashion Square Mall - 1 mile away. Good exercise facility, fast internet, good pool. I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times while visiting Scottsdale to see my mother. In the past, there has been quite a bit of noise from the bars/nightclubs across Drinkwater and on the North side. Now, they make you sign a "I will not have loud parties" contract when you sign in. Kinda embarrassing for us, as we are quiet family with 1 quiet child and our days of partying are way over. I’ve stayed there during the high season and it has been loud - mostly from across the street, not other guests. I’ve been there in July - quiet as a mouse. So, I’m not sure if this hotel was getting the reputation as being a party hotel for young 20’s during the high season - if so, they are trying to curb that tendancy with the "I will be quiet" contract. The food was OK for breakfast. Happy Hour food good too. We like staying at Summerfield Suites. Overall - good space for families to spread out. Convenient kitchen for cooking light or ready-packaged meals.

wonderful place to stay

the Hyatt Summerfield has the most wonderful breakfast and it is centrally located close to the Fashion Square Mall. Beds are extremely comfortable and very convenient.

Perfect! Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent breakfast and hospitality hour in the early evening. We met some very nice people. Suites had plenty of room. The staff was helpful and housekeeping did a great job. Hotel well located to explore on foot and there is a shuttle that runs a route around town.

If you are in Scottsdale for Spring Training, walk to the Giants stadium. Parking is challenging.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Summerfield Hyatt. The suite was set up very nicely and very clean. The overall appearance of the hotel was also a plus. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and the mid week social hour... Good location and pleasant help. We neglected to ask for the ground floor and when we arrived we were on floor #3. As seniors, we checked back with the office and they were able to relocaate us.

A nice feature of the location is that if you walk up about a block or so, you can catch the local trolley that runs all day and goes to the downtown and shopping areas as well as to the ball park. It’s a nice service and free of charge.

okay for economical stay with car

Desk staff seemed distracted and were unwilling to offer much help. Hotel shuttle service to nearby addresses apparently available but never offered and not available when asked for. When asked to call a taxi they called expensive limo service instead. Left a business folder in our first room before were moved in about 10 minutes. Front desk refused to call room"s new occupants saying housekeeping did not find it so it definitely was not left in the room so had to phone myself and of course the new occupants were happy to give it back. Recommend car if staying there as somewhat isolated and somewhat claustrophobic feel to place.

Good buy, very comfortable

Great place for the money. Can’t beat the complimentary breakfast each morning, and happy hour appetizers and beverages weeknights. We found the place to be very comfortable, and close to the things we liked to do. It does not have an elevator - so you do have to carry your bags up 2 or 3 flights, depending on the location of your room. But that didn’t bother us.

Suite set up makes it easier to have a more affordable trip.

Great accomodations, very comfortable

Hotel was very nice, comfortable room with kitchen, living room, very roomy, and very very clean. The only downfall was at check in, the woman was not that friendly and when we got to our room, the a/c was not working. Took a 2nd phone call for maintenance to come and then realized we needed to move our room anyway. There are no elevators to the 2nd flr. so if you have heavy luggage, you are carrying it up 2 flights of stairs. The new room was lovely though and comfortable. Convenient to Scottsdale, though not that close, but not far either. Definately a 5-7 min. walk. The hotel does have a shuttle though. All in all, our stay was very pleasant.

Nice place to stay

This was a very nice condo in a great location, but for some reason they used cheap harware on the cabinets.
