Brillant location and fantastic hotel
The hotel was fantastic!! The location was perfect, set in the Rosarium, we could look at at the beautiful flowers everyday whilst eating breakfast on the terrace. The town centre is 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, with plenty of cafes and restaurants.Another great asset, was the spa, it has 2 types of saunas and a Turkish Steam room, different types of showers and a cool relax area where you can make yourself a cup of tea or have a glass of water and chill out. Our room was gorgeous with a big comfy bed, wooden flooring and a massive balcony with a wicker table and chairs, I wish I could bring the room home with me. Last but not least, the staff. They were all polite and cheerful, and always eager to help with any queries we had. Me and my boyfriend will definately be visiting this hotel again

Peaceful retreat
Had a room on 3rd floor with fantastic views of the parkland from our balcony. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated and the beds confortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helped us book somewhere for dinner. We arrived at the hotel too late for spa activities but the pool did look very inviting. Breakfast was we presented and had a large selection of breads, cheese, sliced meat, cereal, yogurt, eggs and cakes. The only issue I had with the hotel was that there was no cold water and the pillows were too soft...

Wonderful hotel
We stayed at the Schloss Weikersdorf Hotel for 3 nights in early April this year (2008). What a wonderful hotel! The service we received was excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. It is so very clean throughout, with great care taken with decor and furnishings. The room we had was extremely comfortable, with a private balcony overlooking the Doblhoff Park rose garden. I am just sorry we didn’t get to see it in full bloom! The dining room was spacious and offered a great selection for breakfast and a wonderful a la carte menu for dinner. The covered courtyard must be a wonerful venue for weddings and other functions. The health center is excellent, with steam room, saunas and swimming pool. The 10 pin bowling alley is a great idea but works out expensive and broke down a couple of times. Apparently the whole hotel has been booked by the Italian National football squad for the Euro 2008 tournament.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
A visit to Baden would be incomplete without a visit to the Romertherme spa. The outdoor pools are heated to 36 degrees and offer a wonderful way to unwind & relax for a few hours.
