A nice place to stay
We had a very pleasant 5 days at the Divi Heritage, the location is excellent with the ocean just 30ft from the room. The rooms are well maintained, the hotel staff are helpful and pleasant. For a 2 1/2 star hotel it’s excellent.

Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Good shopping across the road.

Spacious and clean but in need of refurb
We stayed here for one night on our way home from Grenada and had chosen it because of its location and the fact that all the rooms are suites. The rooms are very generously proportioned and well-equipped, but definitely in need of a bit of a refurb. However, don’t let this put you off - just go with realistic expectations. It is a short walk to some glorious beaches and great swimming (we didn’t have a chance to snorkel but I am led to believe that it’s also great). The staff are very helpful indeed - outstanding service from them. The only drawback we found was with the Almond Bay next door. We had hoped to be able to go and just have some lunch there, but they wanted to charge us $50 (US) each for a ’lunch pass’. As we only wanted a light lunch, this seemed a little steep. Again, we asked if it was possible to get a drinks pass to use the bars in the evening, this was priced at $100 (US) each. As we only wanted a couple of apertifs before going out for dinner, this was totally inappropriate. But the Beach House is only a 5-10 minute walk up the coast and does fantastic cocktails and lunches and we would definitely recommend that as an alternative. All round, a decent place to stay.
Definitely go to the Beach House. Sensational food and awesome cocktails in a truly stunning setting. We had dinner and lunch there in a 24 hour period!

Not up to the standards of a Divi Resort
We found the conditions run down and in need of repair. Some examples: kitchen was antiquated; safe was broken and it took Guard about an hour to get our valuables out and no new plate could be found so we could not use it again; air conditioning only in the bedroom area; came back from beach to find room cleaned but not a towell to be found and no one around to give us towells; Took about a half hour to hunt down housekeeper to give us towells; had to ask for items that should have been in our room before we got there. In short, we feel as if this resort is being run on a shoestring and close to closing.

I loved this hotel, it was nice, quiet and perfect for honeymooners. My husband and I had a great time, and would love to return. Also there are hot tubs in every room!

PERFECT HONEYMOON SPOT!
My husband and I married on 7/7/07 and stayed at Th Divi for our honeymoon. The resort is perfect for honeymooners. There is a jacazzi in every room and a beautiful ocean view. WE would go back for sure!The price is right and everything you can possibly need is in walking distance
