What we needed....
Nice hotel for what we needed, which was its close proximity to the Munich airport to catch our return flight the next morning. The hotel has a shuttle (it’s not free...you’ll have to pay for it) to the airport, which was connected via train straight into downtown Munich, allowing us some tourist time there. Rooms were nice and modern, breakfast adequate, front desk clerks helpful. Being near the airport, we could hear the planes outside our window...earplugs are a good idea for staying here, or at any other hotel for that matter.

Its the small things
We weren’t expecting an 8 euro parking fee the morning we left. We requested a baby bed which of course wasn’t ready for our very tired toddler. We didn’t expect to be woken by loud banging (doors slamming, people walking down the stairs with suitcases etc) at 0700 after a late night.

Be prepared for all the things you don’t expect these days from the service industry - you would think with the amount of competition these hotels have, they would be falling over backwards to ’serve’ you.
