A truly great experience
The renovations have made this a spectacular hotel. The service was quick and courteous. I had a wonderful time!
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
The hotel was a beautiful 20-minute walk from the edge of Central Park. New York is such a great place to walk. Just pay attention to your surroundings and keep your eyes moving to absorb all the wonderful sights. I have walked its streets many times and have never had a problem. Just relax and enjoy yourself.

Will def stay here again
Whilst Im sure this hotel as lost some of the sparkle it had in its hey-day i couldnt really fault it. Room big enough, tho noticed they didnt dust it!! old fashioned fixtures & fittings. Staff all very pleasant. Famous Sunday brunch looks amazing but very expensive, head to Raffles on Lexington instead for a great breakfast.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get up early!! Purchase the city pass for entry to most attractions and grey line bus tours were brilliant.

Very lovely and historical
My husband and I just spent 5 days at the Waldorf and the staff was amazingly polite and willing to assist. The hotel is old but that is part of the reason we enjoyed it. It is so grand and with such a rich and interesting history and such a pleasant staff that we would have loved to stay longer!
