Beautiful, Grand, Old Hotel.
Our arrival at this hotel was very pleasant right from the start. Attention to detail was great. Had booked a superior room and were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment on arrival. Extemely busy moto grand prix weekend, but no stress for the hotel. Staff on the front desk spoke very good English and nothing was a problem for them. The hotels private beach area is a really relaxing way to spend your day although the price for using the facility is pretty heavy. Overall a lovely old nostalgic hotel, with a great feel for history. We had a very happy experience at this hotel.
Traveller's tip on dining
The hotel offers a beautiful dining room and a very enjoyable meal with an ever changing menu. But it is also easy to walk across the road and try a multitude of restaurants on the beach esplanade. That way you are spoiled for choice and price. It is however a diffent matter on a Monday night as most of the restaurants are closed. So have dinner that night in the hotels beautiful restaurant for a treat.

Fantastic and pleasurable time !!
My Partner and I had a lovely relaxing time at The Grand. The staff were friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment was good, food great. very romantic....So romantic I proposed to my lovely partner on stag, and then had this wonderful singer, sing while we danced..Could it get any better...Thank you the Grand Hotel of Rimini. Very disappointed
Hotel consists of two buildings which are Grand Hotel itself which is five star proper, and Residenzia which would be at most three stars if it ever were rated. Unfortunately, when you book through Expedia it is not specified where the room is, and ours was in Rezidenzia. A _really_ tiny room in a building in need of a major face lift, inconsistent airconditioner, no direct dial from the room to any of hotel’s services. It did have a huge flatscreen TV with Sky that took up half of the room. Private beach is 90 euro per person per day extra and is absolutely not worth it.

Lo Squero is the best seafood restaurant in the area and is just two minute walk from the hotel.
