High Style Boutique Hotel In The 5th District
Situated in a quiet location, but very near the Metro lines and great restaurants and cafes, we were pleasantly surprised with Hotel Le Six. The staff were extremely service oriented and attentive. And for Europe, particularly Paris, our room was a very nice size. The bath was well-appointed in a very luxurious way. Free Wi-Fi was a great plus.
In Paris it’s all about public transportation. Driving is dangerous ! Cabs are very expensive. It behooves you to become familiar with the extremely safe and easy to understand Metro system. That’s the only mode of transporation we used, even coming from Charles de Gaulle into the city. It’s inexpensive and easy.

Le Six is a Ten
I have stayed in Paris many times and have found that the Latin Quarter is my favorite area to stay. There are many great restaurants, amazing shopping within a block or two, and you are close to many of Paris’ best museums. The hotel staff was very friendly and all were at least tri-lingual as they were from other countries. Breakfast was well done and the service was even better. The lounge area was very trendy and had a flat screen, so watching the football match with a cocktail was fun after a day of touring. The bartender was extremely friendly and even watched the match with us. I didn’t use the spa, but it would be nice to have access to it during an extended stay. I would say the room price was a bit high, but in fairness the US$ is in the toilet right now at .67 to the Euro. Overall, a great place to stay.
