Outstanding Hotel
I had a great experience recently at the W Hotel in NYC on Lexington and 49th. The hotel was modern, clean, and was upgraded to a great corner room without asking! Service was also very friendly. Also, in walking distance to many great restaurants, Grand Central Station, and the Theater District (without having to put up with all of the hassle of Times Square).

Too small-Too much noise
We were greeted with a room across the hall having hired a male stripper for a girl’s night out party. Security had to come after two adjacent guests pounded on their door and asked them to keep the noise down.

Top 3 hotel in NYC
Last year we stayed at the Waldorf Astoria so I was slighlty put off staying at another hotel when the Waldorf was just pure excellence. I must say the W on Lexington and 49th really suprised us. The staff were very friendly and professional, the layout was a contemporary NYC Hotel. The room was slightly on the small side but comfortable for 2 people. We had a 40 inch Plasma TV, 5 different types of lighting, excellent quality bed with the BEST pillows. I cant wait to go back again in December and stay here.
