Lovely hotel but a bit far from the main sites
This definitely wasn’t a bad hotel, I was just a little disappointed overall. It was quite a way from the main sites of Hong Kong and even though they had a shuttle van service, it made going to and from the hotel a bit of a mission in the heat. There was a problem with check-in when we arrived and it wasn’t fixed until the next evening, so we had to get hotel staff to escort us to our room each time. I know they can’t help things being broken but it was another inconvenience. Finally, we paid for a harbour view room and whilst we did have a view of the harbour, it wasn’t the main harbour that we wanted the view of. Minor niggle really but it added up.
Traveller's tip on dining
We found a fantastic dining guide at the airport, not sure of the name but it had some great local restaurants. May have been called Gourmet something.

Excellent Hotel
Beautiful hotel. Staff very helpful. Fabulous views over harbour and Hong Kong. Perhaps the location is not the most central but the ferry is just next door and public transport is very inexpensive generally so it didn’t matter. Would recommend.

Fantastic harbour views
Stayed here for three nights in a Harbour View Room with a wonderful view of the harbour and city. Service was excellent and the staff friendly although the food was expensive. (There are other restaurants in the area.) Although in Kowloon, the hotel is only a five minute walk from the Star Ferry to Central and the hotel provides an excellent shuttle bus service to the Nathan Road Area. Excellent roof top swimming pool. Would certainly be prepared to stay here again.
