Great for the Price
No complaints for having a 1 bedroom condo, with a great bed, for a great great price. Hotel and grounds are very nice. Unfortunately, you cannot walk on the beach, but there is a walking path between all the hotels in the area. The pool has no deep end and there were not enough lounge chairs around it so we never sat around the pool. When I go into a pool, I want to swim.not soak. We were never approached by the timeshare sales personnel. Booking through the Concierege, they do highly suggest going to a presentation to cut down the costs of your activities. We did go and it was not really high pressure. We booked our Zip Line Tour at Princeville and our catarmaran tour of the Napali Coast thru our Concierge and they were both great.

We’ve stayed a number of times in Kauai (our favorite island). This was our first time staying at a condo and first time staying on the east side of the island. The condo itself was well appointed. We were in the Al’i buidling in a 1 BR. In these buildings, location is everything. Our first two nights were spent on the first floor, next to parking lot. The remaining time spent on 2nd floor overlooking pool. They say non-smoking facility, but every patio table on the condo decks have ash trays and if your above or downwind from smokers, good luck. People in these condos COOK! the halls smelled like restaurant row. There was a problem with insects when we were there. Received a notice slipped under our door indicating to leave the premises the next day between certain hours because they were spraying. Fortunately for us, we were checking out on that day. Personally, I would have had a problem returning to a room just blasted with insecticides. Staff very helpful. The restaurant on the premises was always busy, but we did not eat there. Easy location to the Coconut Marketplace and down the street from shopping areas. I noticed a number of people getting pitched with their time share sales. Mostly adults at the condos. No beach. LATE check in, after 4 p.m.

Nice resort of Kauai’s eastern shore
Overall, very nice place to stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. A little too high pressure to to take a time share tour from the concierge staff, but otherwise everything was great. A lot of grocery stores, restaurants, shopping nearby.
