Sheets Not Changed!
First room we were shown was extremely small and smelled musty and had parked cars right in front of the windows - so nice view not. We complained and shown another room. This was much better. However over the 3 night stay our sheets were never changed despite twice complaining to reception who basically gave impression couldnt give a **** and that this was standard hotel procedure not to change sheets - ugh!.

2 day visit to Stratford upon avon
Initial impressions were dulled by having gone through 1 way system at least 3 times before finding hotel. Had we been advised to approach via Banbury (instead of Warwick) would have been better. Hotel itself is large with a lot of character and rambling but very well run with extremely helpful staff (and manager). Breakfast was very good and health club /swimming pool fine.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Watch internet to get tickets for Royal Shakespeare Theatre which was fantastic

GREAT HOTEL FOR LOCATION AND QUALITY!
Great place to stay for a couple or a family. First impressions were great. The actual quality of the hotel and the room were fantastic. The only down point was the service at the bar was very slow and even when we ordered our drink they got it wrong, but maybe they were having a bad day...! Overall I would recommend it to anyone as it is in walking distance to everything, even the racecourse is only 20mins away if you like to walk. A definate must stay!!
